Most tours show you the highlights — this one brings you behind the scenes.
Join us for a personal journey through Singapore’s past and present, led by your licensed guide from Spain who now lives in Singapore and sees the city with both wonder and insight. We begin in Chinatown, where temples and shophouses tell the story of early immigrants and long-held traditions.
Then we head to a typical Singaporean residential neighbourhood, where you’ll get the rare opportunity to step into a real HDB flat, specifically your guide’s own home, and not a showpiece — for an open, relaxed experience of how people really live in Singapore.
Along the way, your host shares what it’s like to build a life here, from navigating Singlish to understanding hawker culture and housing quirks. His Singaporean wife may also join for part of the tour, adding her own local stories and perspectives — giving you both the outsider’s curiosity and the insider’s view in one experience.
You’ll enjoy:
🍍 A guided walk through Chinatown’s cultural and historical landmarks
🚇 MRT (local subway) ride together — just like the locals (at own cost- about SGD$2 per person)
👣 A casual walk through the heartlands: markets, void decks, daily life
🏡 A cosy home visit with real talk on housing, culture, and routines
🥪 Tasting of some local snacks (let us know if you have dietary restrictions)
🎲 Try some traditional Singapore games
💬 A chance to ask anything — from hawker food tips and MRT rules to local customs, festivals, and daily life quirks
Whether it’s your first visit or you’ve been here before, this tour offers a heartfelt, human view of Singapore — shaped by both new experiences and native roots.
👣 Small group only — like visiting a friend, but with richer stories and tasty snacks.
